Anna Nemes-Nagy – Certified Fitness Instructor and Functional Movement Trainer
Hello there,
I’m Anna, fitness coach, an ever-realist and idealist in heart. Deeply spiritual and evidence-based. I am persistently educating myself to support others on the path of becoming stronger in body and mind.
I deeply believe (and that science also supports) that a long and healthy life is based on a strong body. As a coach, I strive to give you an empathetic space and support that encourages your development.
Since 2012, at the same time as my own lifestyle change, I started writing a blog and since then I have been helping people on the bumpy path of lifestyle change (weight loss and strength + muscle gain), career change and parenthood.
In 2015, I obtained my life coach qualification. In the first period, I helped my clients to dare to listen to the call of their hearts and switch to a profession that gives them identity and personal fulfillment instead of their soul-killing office work.
In 2016, my little son was born, and a year later, in 2017, my twin daughters. I became a mother of a large family at a breakneck pace. My own bone-deep experiences on the journey of becoming a parent, full of depths and heights, inspired me to focus my support work on mothers. It was a long season in my life where I needed a lot of strength to be able to cope with all the changes.
As a deep-heart lover of strength training and healthy lifestyle, in 2018, I delved into the world of functional training and obtained the Level-1 Functional Movement Trainer Certificate.
In 2023, I expanded my knowledge with the Fitness Academy Fitness instructor training, so that in addition to functional training, I also serve you with up-to-date and evidence-based knowledge in strength training, bodybuilding, figure shaping, conditioning and health-preserving fitness methods.
In 2012, I decided to end my previous lazy and unhealthy lifestyle, finally embark on the path of change and lose weight. At the same time, I started writing my blog, where I followed the entire process of my lifestyle change. As time went by, I realized that this was about much more than just getting rid of extra pounds and building muscle. It began to become a deep work of self-knowledge and my blog reflected this. The result of my lifestyle change was that I not only lost weight, but what is much more than that, I became stronger in body, mind and soul. The biggest turning point came in 2014, when I practically started a new life. That year, I got divorced, changed my place of residence and then my job, and I also started a new relationship on a completely new, but now more secure, and since then intensively deepening basis of self-knowledge and self-reflection.
3 years after my lifestyle change, I finally realized who I really am and what kind of life I want to live. In this process, strength training (initially weight training in the gym, later powerlifting) and self-reflection were my most important helpers.
3 years of continuous work and a series of small steps led to me breaking out of the captivity I created myself, finally, for the first time in my life, I truly prioritized my own points of view over those of others, and I took on everything that I am and want to be. A person who is able to decide what is good for her and takes extreme ownership, full of life and generally happy. Along with the turning point, I felt one thing for sure: I FINALLY LIVE. Finally, I am truly living life with all its happiness, difficulties, and struggles. For the goals that are important to me.
In 2014, by being able to stand up for myself, at the same time risking all my previous ideas and desires and actually letting go of everything I had created up until then (because I previously thought that these would help me realize them), I finally got everything I ever wanted. In fact, much, much more. I took a big step to let myself just being myself and not seek the attention and validation of other people.
Of course, the story didn’t end there: life presented me with many challenges (or I did, unconsciously). It’s no coincidence: by then, I could call myself strong enough to fight it, no matter what. In early 2015, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s. I can proudly say that although I had a serious low point in the spring of 2015 because of this, building on my previous experiences, I successfully fought my ill-awareness, so that I can call myself a healthy, balanced and happy person again. I could finally say: I control my life.
That’s why I continued working in 2015: I completed Edit Wiesner’s (Hungarian Lead Coach) Lemma coaching school, so that I could learn from my own journey and help others make small or big changes as a certified coach. My own journey showed me that a happy life is not just a wishful thinking, but a real goal that can be achieved and created by us.
This was just a stop, because the BIG challenges were still waiting for me. In a very short time, we had 3 children from our marriage: our little boy in 2016 and our twin girls in 2017. Yes, you read that right, I became a mother of three in 2 years! Our twins were born 12 months apart after our first child, and this miracle was also an enormously BIG task for us. We knew very well that we had only one choice: to train ourselves in this life situation and this set-up.
Motherhood is the most intense, deepest and most uplifting experience I have ever had in life. I am constantly learning about myself, my relationships and discovering the essence of human life through it. As a mother, I have experienced how little time I can often spend on the things that make me feel alive and happy. However, this distance also fuels the desire in me to work for myself and at the same time pass on all the knowledge and experience I have gained in recent years to others.
In 2018, with my three little ones in the back, I completed the Functional Movement Trainer training at Thor Gym, and started coaching individuals. After that I needed to take a break due to a burn-out, but returned to life coaching in 2020. I’ve started to give 1:1 strength training lessons in our private gym from 2022. I then continued my journey to help strengthening people with the Fitness Academy Fitness Instructor certification in 2023. The education gave me a strong basis to help people effectively and safely build strength, muscle, mobility – and a better life through regular movement in general. I’ve started a small group community training program at a fitness park in my neighbourhood and started to give 1:1 and 2:1 lessons as well. The number of my clients grew rapidly!
My journey took an unexpected turn and led me to the Netherlands where we now live with my family. With all the challenges life has thrown at us, I couldn’t be happier.
I continued coaching my Hungarian clients online and started in-person coaching at the end of 2024 at FitUp Leiderdorp. I have a strength training small group class every Friday at 18:00 which I am very proud of!
I created the Ochtend Krachtclub in 2025 to help busy people get stronger with personalised strength training programs in a small group – very early in the morning. The success of the 1st Krachtclub led me to widen the oppportunities that I offer my clients for strength training and now I have under the umbrella of Krachtclub 6 strength training lessons every week.
I officialy became an entrepreneur in the Netherlands in August 2025. Now my services include the Krachtclub, 1:1 personal training and online coaching.
Strength brings happiness and health, and I would love to help you feel that too. When you truly embrace your strength, the real transformation begins.
I believe that our lives can be happy and complete.
I believe that a life following the voice of our own heart is not a girl’s dream, but a reality that can be created. And that the strength of our body can greatly support our ambitions.
I believe that we can live our lives in a way that includes the values that we ourselves consider important. For me, this is family, a helping profession, empathetic and supportive human relationships, simplicity and most of all: freedom – which is for me spiritual and emotional integrity and safety.
